Promotional Gifts: My Friend's True Story

In corporate world no decision is big decision or small decision, rather- either it is a good decision or a bad decision. If a decision brings profit, it is good otherwise it is bad. So here I am going to tell you a true story about one of my friends Steve. He works with a not so big firm, selling toys. They are good market players. His firm was going to organize an event and his bosses were brainstorming over gifts to the participants.

No need to say that they were thinking over promotional gifts. Everyone was ready with suggestions. But nothing worked due to budget restrain. Because they could not afford costly corporate gifts as event was huge and participants were more than 2000. They were some partners, some loyal customers and also media people. No idea was working till Steve comes with an idea of a beautiful small bag, in which you can carry small items.

Now what, they ordered 2500 small bags with the company's name and logo on it. And it was a huge hit. As everybody started keeping their things in it and company's name was everywhere when the event was over. So my friend's idea of promotional gifts was quite a beautiful idea for which he got appreciations and yes a good appraisal also. So, it was indeed a good decision-although to use a small thing as a promotional gift.

Promotional Items: When Cost And Visibility Matters

A lot of things come to the mind when you think about promoting your company and its products. And I am sure that apart from way of promotion you must be thinking about your main purpose and the budget involved in it. If you want to solve your purpose in minimal budget then there is no idea better than distributing items in promotional events.

My experience with promotional items so far is quite satisfactory. They are easy to procure and a variety of them are available. My personal favorite promotional products are balloons, bags, calendars, caps, magnets, key chains, mugs, mouse pads, pens, pencils, T-shirts and umbrellas also.

It depends on your budget and purpose, what you will use as promotional items. For example, if you have just changed the logo of your firm, and have redesigned its color, then a T-shirt with new design printed on it would be an excellent idea. It is cost-effective and also, it is on mind of customers for long time.

These days, many small IT hardware firms are using mouse pads as promotional products. These are quite popular because of their high cost-effectiveness and visibility. Therefore, before clinging to an idea of promotional products, do extensive research and then go for the most useful and visible item. Because your promotion deserves maximum eyeballs.
